This summer the weather is hot but the fashions are even hotter! Spring fashions trends this year are designed to keep you feel refreshed and crisp no matter the weather or occasion. As you shop for spring designs keep the following looks in mind.
Dresses
The little black dress has been updated just in time for Summer! Expect to see dresses and skirts that hit at the knee or slightly higher. Mainly this season dresses are loose fitting and designed to work for any woman's figure. Strapless dresses with sashes at the waist are popular. Simple silhouettes are favored over complicated designs with beading, embroidery and glitter not making the same impact it has in previous seasons. Plunging necklines are also out this season. Instead, dress with simple sweetheart or round necks that offer women better support and a more appropriate daytime look.
Expect to see the typical white and black dresses but spring colors are also being used. The hottest color this season appears to be orange and the T-shirt dress in goldfish or coral is one of the hottest fashions around. This fitted dress hits at mid thigh and resembles a figure hugging T-shirt.
When it comes to skirts, the pencil skirt has received a long overdue makeover. An empire waist has been added that instantly polishes the look. The denim pencil skirt in coral is great for adding a little edge to your wardrobe.

Tie-dyed
Tie-dyed and striped looks will be cropping up in every clothing item this season. Tie-dyed skirts and tanks in purple, greens and pinks are available. Tie-dyed accessories are also big this year. Everyone will be carrying a hobo style or oversized tote bag for spring and chances are bags will be simple white with bold strips throughout or a splash of color at the base. Scarves make great accessories this spring and tie-dyed scarves in oranges, blues and reds will complete any look.
Short sleeved tees are dressed up with lots of details this season. Tops will feature braided corsages, flutter tops, pleats, bows and ruffles. V-neck, crewneck and Henley tees are still hot this year just updated in fresh colors including blues, greens, pinks and yellows to keep you cool and fresh all spring long. Winter looks have also been seamlessly incorporated into summer looks. The summer sweater is sleeves with detailing at the sleeves. Cardigans have been updated with floral patterns and in lighter materials. A simple sleeveless empire waist summer dress will look great when paired with a light floral cardigan and t-strap sandals, the must have footwear this season.
Slouchy oversized pants will not be in this summer. Instead, pants look more tailored and are slim fitted and low waisted to ride the hips better. Jeans and other pant styles have been shortened for comfort and style. Cropped knee length khakis can be dressed up with heels. Ankle length pants are popular for pairing with sandals and flip-flops a warm weather favorite. Though pants can be found in every color imaginable, lighter looks such as pinks, berries and soft blues are being emphasized this season.
